Mountain Huts
The hub of the Heuberge is located in the Berghaus Arflina. The charming Arflina Chalet is in the immediate vicinity, while the Berghaus Heuberge is a little further downhill. The Berghaus Heuberge is only open in winter and is very popular with many guests for its rustic hut charm – especially for a fondue fun.
Since December 2012 the new reception in the Berghaus Arflina is in operation. It is not only for house guests it offers a contact point for information and the starting point for many activities. Our reception team is happy to provide information about your stay, the offers of the Heuberge, conditions on the slopes, the avalanche bulletin, bus schedules, etc…
Our houses:
Cosy mountain luxury in a triple pack
The Berghaus Arflina is located at 2000 meters and is the hub of the Heuberge. Visitors can obtain information about their stay at the reception. Our chefs and service staff take care of the physical well-being of our guests. The new bar with a view of the Rhätikon is the ideal meeting point for aperitifs.
The Berghaus Arflina is also an ideal meeting place for sportsmen and women. After a strenuous bike tour or hike, treat yourself to a cooling off on our terrace or spend the night at 2000 metres and continue your tour the next day after a rich mountain breakfast.
As accommodation we offer double rooms, shared rooms, but also tourist camps. Thus, the mountain house Arflina is an ideal accommodation for couples, families and groups. In total there are over 130 beds in the mountain house Arflina and together with the chalet there is room for almost 200 overnight guests. The Arflina is therefore ideal for events on a grand scale.
Hotel
You will find charming double rooms, but also spacious shared rooms. All our rooms are equipped with fresh bed linen and towels.
Whether for large families or couples, we have a suitable room for all groups. All shared rooms have a nordic bed and are equipped with fresh towels.
The Berghaus Arflina has the following rooms:
- 2 x double rooms with washbasin
- 12 x 4-bed room with washbasin
- 1 x 5-bed without washbasin
- 1 x 6-bed with washbasin
- 1 x 6-bed without washbasin
- 1 x 8-bed without washbasin
The showers and WCs are located on the floor, as is traditional for mountain lodges.
Check-in and check-out is at the Arflina reception desk. There we will be happy to give you information about your stay or about our winter sports offers. At the reception you can also buy ski tickets and pay the sledge rental.
Lager
The cosy “Lagers” are ideal as accommodation for groups, schools or families.
All in all the Arflina has:
- 5 x 10 person “Lager”
- 1 x 14 person “Lager”
All “Lagers” are equipped with pillows and woollen blankets. Sleeping bags must be brought by the guests. The overnight stay in the “Lager” promises great fun for school classes, families with children and for adventurous guests.
Payment for groups
Large groups staying overnight in the “Lager” are requested to pay for their accommodation directly at check-in. This saves you long waiting times for the checkout on the day of departure. On the day of departure you only have to pay the ski tickets and can start your skiing day directly on the slopes and enjoy it to the full.
Chalet with charm at 2000 meters
The Chalet is a traditional wooden building and therefore has its very special charm. In the Chalet there are comfortable double and family rooms as well as the “Fonduestübli”. The chalet is ideal for families and private parties as it has a total of 60 beds and can be rented exclusively.
Due to its proximity to the Berghaus Arflina, the restaurant and ski rental are also only a stone’s throw away.
The rooms
In the Chalet you will find charming double rooms, but also spacious shared rooms.
For guests who prefer to stay in double rooms or shared rooms rather than in the tourist “Lager”, the Chalet also offers ideal accommodation.
All our rooms are equipped with fresh bed linen. Fresh towels are also available in the rooms.
In total the Chalet has the following rooms:
- 6 x 2 persons (1 x bed 1.40 meter, 1 x bunk bed)
- 1 x 4 (2 x bunk bed)
- 4 x 4 (2 x bunk bed)
- 3 x 5s (2 x bunk bed & 1 x normal)
- 3 x emergency bedding (mattress bedding with pitched roof)
The Berghaus Heuberge is an original mountain house and exudes the typical Heuberge mountain hut charm. If you would like to spend a cosy fondue evening at 2000 metres or a ski weekend with a club, Berghaus Heuberge is just the place for you.
If you want to go sledding down into the valley after the fondue fun, you can pay the sledge rental directly in the restaurant. For those who would like to stay even longer on weekends, the doors of the cow bar are open until the early morning hours.
Right next to the Berghaus Heuberge there is a beginners’ ski lift, as well as the Heuberg lift. This means that nothing stands in the way of the subsequent skiing pleasure directly after a hearty mountain breakfast.
Sledges can be rented directly at the Heuberge and paid for at the reception or directly at the restaurant service staff.
Other equipment for winter sports can be obtained in the ski room in the Berghaus Arflina. Here we can also adapt your equipment for you.
Hotel
In the Berghaus Heuberge there are comfortably furnished 2 and 4-bed rooms. All multi-bed rooms have a Nordic bed and are equipped with fresh towelling.

Lager
The Berghaus Heuberge offers different sized tourist “Lager” for groups. Our camps are equipped with woollen blankets and pillows. Please bring a sleeping bag from home.
The “Lagers” at Berghaus Heuberge are cosy and spacious. They invite to long nights or ski holidays for families.
Specifically, Haus Heuberge has the following “Lagers”:
