Our daring guests of the skies
Model flying groups are most welcome.
We do our best to offer model pilots ideal preparation, take-off and après-flight conditions. We offer the pilots beautiful take-off areas, with large landing areas (approx. 1730ha) without stones or other obstacles.
The flying season starts in mid-June and lasts until mid-October, weather and snow conditions permitting. The Heuberge offer plenty of space in the fresh air to fly or to do handicrafts in our craft rooms.

For the perfect
Model flight experience
We are happy to make our premises and infrastructure available to model flying groups.
In the basement of the mountain house Arflina there is enough space to store material and electricity to charge batteries.
After a long day in the fresh air, our restaurant is happy to provide grumbling pilot’s stomachs with culinary delicacies.
Craft room
Model aircraft pilots are welcome to use our ski room free of charge to get their aircraft in shape or to carry out repairs. You can also charge your batteries there under supervision of the charging process.
Internet
To ensure that pilots are up to date with the weather and forecasts, high-speed Internet is available free of charge throughout the building.
Approach & parking spaces
You can reach us easily by car (the road charge of CHF 10.00 can be easily solved by SMS or App, see Summer arrival). Parking spaces are available to our guests free of charge.
Overnight stay
Well rested, it flies better: We offer possibilities for overnight stays right next to the flying area.
In the mountain house Arflina we offer the possibility to stay overnight in double and shared rooms. Cheap overnight stays are also possible in tourist camps.
Packed lunch
On request we will be happy to put together a packed lunch. In this way you can spend the whole day on the mountain and take advantage of the good thermals even during lunchtime.
Webcam & measuring station
On our website model pilots can inform themselves about the weather in the Heubergen. Current pictures of our webcams give a good impression of the current situation.
